Applications
Standard N-Fmoc protected L-histidine derivative with an imidazole side-chain protected by a trityl (Trt) group for solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The bulky trityl group blocks the basic imidazole ring, suppressing side reactions such as epimerization/racemization and alkylation during chain elongation.
